Dallen's been learning about the body systems at school and he's fascinated with them. He draws pictures of them and says crazy things like, "I feel the food going through my digestive system. Right now it's all broken up from the stomach acids and it's moving into my small intestine." :) So this morning...
Dallen: Sometimes I can't sleep at night because I'm afraid of the beeping.
Me: What beeping?
Dallen: I'm afraid the beeping will stop.
Me: You're afraid what beeping will stop?
Dallen: I'm afraid my heart will stop beeping.
Okay so it's so sad that this is his fear, but I had to crack up before I resolved it. Beep, beep, beep!
